@mrrustymonkey: * the door to a former #TemporalTues monastery opens & a monkey doll skips out into another sunny, sunflower filled day *

@mrrustymonkey: * he skips along cobbled streets, prosciutto sandwich in hand, heading towards the #TemporalTues town square below *

@mrrustymonkey: * he picks that familiar spot, on the old court house steps, to sit & wait & think. what to do #TemporalTues, what to do? *

@mrrustymonkey: * he closes his eyes & the decades pass. now, he's sits on the steps of a very old house - his seat on the #TemporalTues time machine *

@mrrustymonkey: Today on this #TemporalTues...do I need to escape from this beloved routine? It's any month this year. It's still 2014.

@mrrustymonkey: his mind wanders, remembering a long ago time & the #TemporalTues consequences of staying some place perhaps a bit too long *

@mrrustymonkey: It's another #TemporalTues day in this lovely, foreign land... but I've enjoyed as much heaven as I can absolutely stand.

@mrrustymonkey: Why do I stay here #TemporalTues? What was that original quest? If I've forgotten by now, perhaps forgetting is best.

@mrrustymonkey: So I sit here #TemporalTues, on these old & crumbling steps. It's been a place where I've laughed & a place where I've wept.

@mrrustymonkey: Nothing lasts forever #TemporalTues, even heaven, on any terms. Change is necessary & sometimes scary & often fraught with concerns.

@mrrustymonkey: So cheer up dear #TemporalTues. There is always "more than this". Perhaps the future holds / unfolds a different kind of bliss?

@mrrustymonkey: * so he scurries up to the attic & digs around in an old #TemporalTues trunk, in search of something from his college days *

@mrrustymonkey: * he sits down in a discarded chair, next to a trunk of old photos & record albums. this is his seat on the #TemporalTues time machine *

@mrrustymonkey: Today on this #TemporalTues there's a problem to solve, but it's an easy fix ... if we go back to 1986. ;)

@mrrustymonkey: There we are #TemporalTues, a group of silly college friends. The stress of final exams is how it begins...

@mrrustymonkey: Someone "cracks" #TemporalTues & just can't take it anymore! :) So we'll gather the whole 3rd floor... for a trip to a special store!

@mrrustymonkey: It's sugar... #TemporalTues sugar that helps us smile & stay up late. But it's our break, spent together, that was really really great!

@mrrustymonkey: *a monkey doll screams with excitement! he skips down the concrete steps, as the door to the #TemporalTues screened porch slams behind him*

@mrrustymonkey: *he didn't even take the time to look @ the #TemporalTues clock. he doesn't understand clocks anyway, but he knows that it's exactly 5:15pm*

@mrrustymonkey: * he runs just as fast as he can & sits down on the last, round sidewalk paver to wait. this is his seat on the #TemporalTues time machine *

@mrrustymonkey: Today on this #TemporalTues you'll say, "Take my hand & let's run!" Oh boy, this is our kind of fun! It's 1971.

@mrrustymonkey: Late afternoon #TemporalTues - it's my favorite, I'd say! It's that special time of day when just you & I play.

@mrrustymonkey: This is "our" game #TemporalTues, where you help me run fast! I just wish I could make this scene last & last!

@mrrustymonkey: * the monkey doll hears loud noises coming from somewhere outside, so he opens the door to his linen press room on #TemporalTues. *

@mrrustymonkey: * he quickly determines that it's just the #TemporalTues tent cleanup crew, picking up the remnants of yet another celebration *

@mrrustymonkey: * he turns up the volume on his #TemporalTues tv & clicks around to find his favorite old movie channel *

@mrrustymonkey: * then, he settles into one of the pillows on his parent’s big bed. This is his seat on the #TemporalTues time machine. *

@mrrustymonkey: Today on this #TemporalTues, there's a wedding event & it's really quite nice. But sometimes... I tire of sparklers & rice.

@mrrustymonkey: You see #TemporalTues, the tent rental trucks drive all over my yard! Watching their abuse is incredibly hard.

@mrrustymonkey: #TemporalTues, the money's never enough. I wish there was some other way, to keep this old house & be able to stay.

@mrrustymonkey: #TemporalTues, the caterers always steal spoons & they leave trash behind. We loose precious days off, our only chance to unwind.

@mrrustymonkey: And these bridesmaids #TemporalTues, with their spiked leather heels. My poor heart of pine floors...they are a pretty big deal.

@mrrustymonkey: Then we're off #TemporalTues to kiss a magic stone named Blarney & we'll stroll through the gardens of the Muckross in Kilaraney!

@mrrustymonkey: * he watches as it falls down into the bushes far below. oh dear, this is his very favorite thing #TemporalTues! *

@mrrustymonkey: * a big Irish man, who helps the tourists, shouts out from above - guiding him to the #TemporalTues bush where his hat landed *

@mrrustymonkey: * later that evening, he'll toss back a full pint of Guinness... & then another #TemporalTues, as he tells his Blarney tale *

@mrrustymonkey: The next day #TemporalTues, well... it was all I could afford. I bought a tiny seahorse pin in a store called Waterford.

@mrrustymonkey: Another stop #TemporalTues? We'll tour a mill that weaves by hand, where she'll buy a woven bag that's as tight as I can stand!

@mrrustymonkey: * kicks around inside the new monkey carrier, not sure how he feels about this tighter space #TemporalTues. settles down for the ride *

@mrrustymonkey: One more day #TemporalTues to cross some Mountains called Wicklow, to tour St Kevin's holy church in the town of Glendalough.

@mrrustymonkey: Then it's home #TemporalTues, for Dublin's goodbye pint(s) of beer. We'll lift our glasses to good health & we'll shout it's Irish cheer!

@mrrustymonkey: She's smart & she's funny #TemporalTues & even speaks a little French. At recess, playing hopscotch... well, she's a cinch!

@mrrustymonkey: #TemporalTues, she plays piano & knows most of my classical songs. For the very first time I fit in, I belong...
