@mrrustymonkey: * so he scurries up to the attic & digs around in an old #TemporalTues trunk, in search of something from his college days *
@mrrustymonkey: * he sits down in a discarded chair, next to a trunk of old photos & record albums. this is his seat on the #TemporalTues time machine *
@mrrustymonkey: Today on this #TemporalTues there's a problem to solve, but it's an easy fix ... if we go back to 1986. ;)

@mrrustymonkey: *a car pulls into the driveway of a 1950's #TemporalTues house, located in the idyllic "Mr. Rogers" style neighborhood of Summerville Park*
@mrrustymonkey: *a monkey doll screams with excitement! he skips down the concrete steps, as the door to the #TemporalTues screened porch slams behind him*
@mrrustymonkey: *he didn't even take the time to look @ the #TemporalTues clock. he doesn't understand clocks anyway, but he knows that it's exactly 5:15pm*
@mrrustymonkey: * he runs just as fast as he can & sits down on the last, round sidewalk paver to wait. this is his seat on the #TemporalTues time machine *
@mrrustymonkey: Today on this #TemporalTues you'll say, "Take my hand & let's run!" Oh boy, this is our kind of fun! It's 1971.
@mrrustymonkey: Late afternoon #TemporalTues - it's my favorite, I'd say! It's that special time of day when just you & I play.

@mrrustymonkey: * the monkey doll hears loud noises coming from somewhere outside, so he opens the door to his linen press room on #TemporalTues. *
@mrrustymonkey: * he quickly determines that it's just the #TemporalTues tent cleanup crew, picking up the remnants of yet another celebration *
@mrrustymonkey: * he turns up the volume on his #TemporalTues tv & clicks around to find his favorite old movie channel *
@mrrustymonkey: * then, he settles into one of the pillows on his parent’s big bed. This is his seat on the #TemporalTues time machine. *
@mrrustymonkey: Today on this #TemporalTues, there's a wedding event & it's really quite nice. But sometimes... I tire of sparklers & rice.
@mrrustymonkey: You see #TemporalTues, the tent rental trucks drive all over my yard! Watching their abuse is incredibly hard.
@mrrustymonkey: #TemporalTues, the money's never enough. I wish there was some other way, to keep this old house & be able to stay.
@mrrustymonkey: #TemporalTues, the caterers always steal spoons & they leave trash behind. We loose precious days off, our only chance to unwind.
@mrrustymonkey: And these bridesmaids #TemporalTues, with their spiked leather heels. My poor heart of pine floors...they are a pretty big deal.
@mrrustymonkey: Lock the display cases #TemporalTues! Hide the heirloom pieces! Remind me to bring them back out when this event finally ceases.
